According to the newly released 2019 Q1 Fundraising Effectiveness Project’s report, giving this year is down. Gifts sizes are down. The number of places donors are giving are down.
The stats may cause fear and “the sky is falling” conversations – but I have a different take on the report. I believe it’s a truthful commentary on the status of how our sector is stewarding donors.
