My passion is for the positive, so when I saw the post Fresh stats with good news about fundraising in 2020 on Care2’s website, I knew I had to share it.
2020 has been rough in ways many of us never could have imagined. So seeing some good news is exciting and might ignite you in this last push for contributions in 2020.
Remember: The work you do matters and people want to support it even when times are tough.
A few highlights:
• According to AFP’s Fundraising Effectiveness Report Charitable giving in the first six months of 2020 increased by 7.5% over the same period in 2019.
• NextAfter.com’s Coronavirus Nonprofit Response said “2020 has seen an increase in overall donor conversion rate in every single month except June which was still higher than 2019.”
• Nick Ellinger at Moore Group reported direct mail donations were up in August, with a 15% increase in responses and an 11% increase in average gifts.
