For me, one of the best connecting and learning tools is Twitter. It’s become a key way I learn of new tools for fundraising and trends in our sector; connect with and meet some amazing people around the world; AND drive traffic to my website. It’s fast and with the right tools (HootSuite, Tweet Deck, etc.) for managing all the people I follow, it’s easy to check in for a few minutes each day.
You may have seen some of these links if you already follow me on Twitter. For those of you who are not following me, it’s easy to follow my updates via RSS Feed OR you can have updates sent to you via text to your phone. Whether you are a follower or not these are some recent bits of helpful information I’ve come across lately:

Lori,
I share your like of Twitter. It is incredible to have wonderful colleagues like you on the lookout for great stuff that I’d never have time to find on my own. Thank you. @gaylegifford
Great illustration of the valuable resources shared on Twitter, Lori. I also like the search feature. It makes it easy to find info that has been shared, even when I missed a tweet.
I’m grateful for Twitter allowing me to connect with both of you, Gayle and Sherry!
